- Embed the timestamp:

Store timestamps in UTC. Discord handles the conversion when you render them inside <t:...>.

Troubleshooting
Why does the preview show the wrong time?
Confirm that your Unix value is in seconds. If you paste milliseconds, Discord assumes “far future” dates. Convert using the Unix tool and retest.
Team members still miss events—what now?
Pair the timestamp with explicit timezone labels (“Local time + UTC”). Encourage members to enable mobile notifications and pin the message.
Can I sync with Google Calendar?
